Streem – Privacy Policy

Effective Date: May 14th, 2020

Streem, LLC. (“Streem”) understands that you care about how we collect, use, and share information when you interact with our websites, mobile applications, social media sites and handles, email, and online services (our “Services”), and we value the trust you place in us. This Privacy Policy explains:

+ the types of information we collect through our Services;

+ how we use and protect that information;

+ the types of information we share and under what circumstances;

+ the choices you have regarding our collection, use, and sharing practices; and

+ the steps we take to protect and secure your data.

We also include a specific disclosure about our use of cookies and other tracking technologies. We use these technologies to deliver our Services, gather data for our internal analytics, and for marketing.

This Policy applies to Streem and our websites, web-based applications, mobile applications, and other interactions with users both online and offline. It also applies anywhere it is linked. It does not apply to non-Streem websites and mobile applications that may link to our Services or be linked to or from our Services; please review the privacy policies on those websites and applications directly to understand their privacy practices.

While it may be necessary to share information with external vendors to enable the Services, Streem does not share your personal data with outside entities who are not involved with the provision of Services to our users. Please see below for detailed information regarding when your use of the Services may result in an outside entity gaining access to your information.

Please note that your access and use of the Services may be governed by further written agreement between you and Streem.

What Do We Collect?

Information You Give Us

Some of the Services may include features or services that permit you to enter contact information and other information about you. The information may vary depending on whether you are an individual seeking to engage a professional (“Service Customer”) or a professional delivering services to a consumer (“Business Customer”).

We collect and store information you enter or that is entered by our Business Customers on your behalf on our Services. This includes:

+ Information you provide to Streem or to our Business Customers, such as name and phone number when using our Services.

+ Information you provide when you interact with us directly on our Services or via social media, including any posts, pictures, videos and messages which you submit to us via our social media accounts on other sites (including by use of hashtags associated with us).

+ If you contact us, we keep a record of that correspondence and any contact information provided.

+ Any other information you choose to provide.

For our technology to work, our Services requires that you provide us with access to the camera and microphone for the device on which you are using Streem. When you choose to connect with a Business Customer via our Services, that Business Customer has the option to initiate recording the video of that conversation. By using the Services, you consent to the recording of any conversations you have via the Services; if you do not wish to be recorded, please discuss this with the Business Customer prior to participating in a call. The video is stored in your account and is accessible by Streem as well as the Business Customer with whom you interact. The video may also be shared by a Business Customer within their organization (where applicable) to deliver their services or with other entities, according to the data use practices established by the Business Customer.

Streem does not facilitate payments between Service Customers and Business Customers, and Business Customers do not share your payment information with us. Please do not provide a credit card number, social security number, or other sensitive information during a Streem video session.

When Service Customers connect with Business Customers, Streem facilitates the exchange of information (e.g., videos, photos, sound, and data about products or the environment) between them and collects information as described above. Streem is not responsible for any recording or access of personal information exchanged by either party that occurs outside of Streem’s Services. When using Streem’s services, you agree to abide by the Streem, LLC. Terms of Use including but not limited to the prohibition on posting, recording, or live video streaming illegal or harmful content and the prohibition on video streaming, recording, or posting improper content.

Information We Collect Automatically

When you interact with the Services, certain information about your use of our Services is automatically collected through cookies, web beacons, and other tracking technologies, as well as through your web browser or device. This includes:

+ Details of your visits to our site or application and information generated in the course of the use of our site or Services (including the timing, frequency and pattern of service use) including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data, the resources that you access, and how you reached our site.

+ Details regarding the device you use to access our website or digital services, including operating system and browser type.

+ Information about how you interact with emails, including whether you open or click links in any correspondence.

+ Information that you make available to us on a social media platform, including your account ID or username and other information included in your posts

Why Do We Collect This Information And How Do We Use It?

We use the information we collect from you for the following purposes:

+ To further our purpose of offering technology to connect professionals and service customers

+ To communicate with you, including to respond to inquiries, provide the best service, and to send you communications regarding service features

+ To analyze website or application usage and enhance their operation,

+ To detect, investigate, and prevent activities that may violate our policies or be fraudulent or illegal.
